CATALIN

Electronic Countermeasures, LLC’s co-founders were asked by Charles Long to create a number of original pieces for The Contemporary Austin’s CATALIN show. CATALIN looks at the destruction of our environment and what a possible post-human world might be through the lens of Object Oriented Ontology (OOO). Hovland and Martin worked together to produce 2 animated shorts, Lamentatio Solstalgia, for the facade of The Jones Center along with the Databerg series of data driven computational forms bearing resemblance to icebergs.
